Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum has a broad collection of over 68,000 works from across the world, This five-story art museum in Denver, Colorado, is best known for its assorted collection of American Indian art, architecture, design & graphics, Asian art, modern and contemporary art, New World, photography and painting and sculptures of European and American influence. The North Building and the Hamilton Building comprise this must see Denver attraction.

    • Colorado Residents: Adults $10, Seniors/Students $8, Youth $3
    • Out-of-State Residents: Adults $13, Seniors/Students $10, Youth $5
    • Admission for children under 5 is free for residents and non-residents alike.
    • Admission is free for Colorado residents of all ages the first Saturday of every month.

There are studio demos where you can watch artists work and see first hand the entire process from conception to completion

Artists from all over the world visit the DAM and create their work on-site for display and education. Everyone is invited to watch artists create their masterpices.

There are demos where you can get hands-on and learn firsthand

The Get Your Hands Dirty Demo’s allows visitors to participate and set up shop in the museum for a day to create original works of art. The Demo’s are open to all; no reservations needed.


What are the current exhibitions at the museum?

Some of the current exhibits include, Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective, Focus: Earth & Fire, Texture & Tradition: Japanese Woven Bamboo, and the American Indian Art- just to name a few.

Are there exhibits that are fun for kids?

Absolutely! Not only can kids enjoy all the exhibits in the museum, but they get their own Kids Corner where they can be creative, get hands on with sculptures, build with blocks, or run just relax! It's located in the North Building and is open every day.
