Are there any free admission days at the zoo?
There are, indeed, several days during the year that you can come to the Denver Zoo without paying an admission price. Beginning in 2016, there are four days in January: the 8th, 9th, 21st, and 31st. In February, you can come to the zoo for no charge on the 1st and 18th. Finally, there are three days in November where you can get up-close-and-personal with the animals for free. They are the 4th, 7th, and 17th.
Are there discounted rates for groups?
If you’re traveling with a group of 20 people or more, you’ll be eligible for discounted admission prices to the Denver Zoo. These special rates can be arranged on the day of your visit. Simply head on over to the box office and you will be taken care of. In addition, nonprofit groups are also eligible for special pricing. Be advised that once group tickets are purchased, there are no refunds.
